Over 200 physicians, health care providers, and prominent civic and business leaders, in addition to PCC Community Wellness Center staff and local donors from Chicago and the Oak Park-River Forest area gathered to support the PCC Foundation. Established in February 2016, the PCC Foundation is organized and will be operated at all times exclusively for the benefit of PCC Community Wellness Center.

The PCC Foundation celebrated the opening of PCC Community Wellness Center’s first school-based community health center, PCC Community Wellness Center at Steinmetz. Robert Urso, President of the PCC Foundation, spoke about the long journey of passion and persistence. “After more than three years of strategizing and collaborating,” said Urso, “we secured the necessary funding for operations and construction.” While the clinic had been operating since November 2015 in a temporary space, PCC at Steinmetz is now caring for patients in a beautifully remodeled health center inside Steinmetz College Prep High School. The high school’s principal, Stephen Ngo, was presented with a plaque to honor his commitment to the completion of the project. The clinic is located inside Steinmetz College Prep High School at 3030 N. Mobile (Door #8), Chicago, IL 60634.
