Elizabeth Dowell, MD

Dr. Dowell received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University – School of Medicine in 1995. She completed her residency training at the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program.

Rebecca DeHoek, MD

Dr. DeHoek is a family medicine physician who joined the PCC health care team in 2010. She serves as the Medical Director at PCC South Family Health Center. Dr. DeHoek received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago

Cecelia Bacom, CNM

Ceal Bacom is a certified nurse-midwife who joined PCC in 2004. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature at the University of Virginia. She later obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1988.

Ricardo Aguinaga, LCSW

Ricardo Aguinaga, Jr. joined the PCC behavioral health care team in 2016. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who attained his Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago – School of Social Service Administration in 2010.

Berwyn, IL - March 18, 2015 – On Friday, PCC Community Wellness Center (PCC) held a grand opening for the Birth Center at PCC , Illinois’ first free-standing birth center.At the grand opening, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Representative Camille Y. Lilly (D, 78th District) spoke to over 80 attendees about the importance of birth centers and adequate healthcare access.

Berwyn, IL -  This summer PCC Community Wellness Center will host a series of free community events at the Birth Center at PCC . These “Women’s Night Out” events will foster community, model self-care techniques, and introduce health concepts such as nutrition or physical activity for women and mothers. The first Women’s Night Out event will be held on July 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 6201 Roosevelt in Berwyn.
