Caroline Heller is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist. She received her Master's of Arts degree in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree at Saginaw Valley State University, majoring in Fine Arts, with a minor in Psychology. Caroline completed her clinical training at Mercy Housing Lakefront and at the Rice Child and Family Center. Before coming to PCC, she worked in health care for over 10 years. While working towards her bachelor's, she was a mental health worker in an inpatient unit. Caroline's post-graduate work consists of working as an Expressive Therapist at Streamwood Hospital, a Community Support Specialist at Thresholds, and as a Care Coordinator at Illinicare Health. She's also helped develop mental health programming at Connections for the Homeless. Caroline is also a mixed media artist. She loves to sing and is learning to play guitar. She enjoys reading, exploring nature, and spending time with family.
