Maryam Syed is a a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined PCC in 2019. She recieved her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing and obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in May 2019 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Maryam completed a year of clinicals at PCC as part of the Community Health Immersion Clinical (CHIC) program for family nurse practitioner students. She rerecieved the 2019 Relationship and Caring Award from Rush University Medical Center, where she worked as a registered nurse for five years. In the past, Maryam has worked as a psychiatric nurse for three and half years, and as a general medicine nurse for three years. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
