Dr. Dowell received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University – School of Medicine in 1995. She completed her residency training at the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program. Having served at PCC since 2008, Dr. Dowell has demonstrated a commitment to community health. Also passionate about global health, she spent a year caring for patients at Hôpital Albert Schweitzer (HAS) in Deschapelles, Haiti. Similar to PCC, HAS provides health care for the medically underserved. Dr. Dowell speaks both English and Creole. She is a great resource at PCC and works at numerous sites.
