Dr. Melissa Beally earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013. She completed residency at Tulane University School of Medicine – Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to her career in medicine, Dr. Beally joined Teach for America and taught eighth grade science in the Rio Grande Valley for two years. Teaching science sparked her interest in community health and education. She later obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Outside of medicine, Dr. Beally enjoys spending time with her two dogs, traveling, and visiting museums.
