Chicago, IL – For the seventh year, the PCC Austin Farm Stand will sell low-priced, organically grown produce in the Austin community. These fresh vegetables are harvested locally, from the PCC Austin Farm. Beginning June 6, visitors can choose among a variety of seasonal items, including lettuce, scallions, garlic, kale, and mustard and collard greens.

Chicago, IL – June 13, 2016 – The PCC Austin Farm Stand is back for another season of fresh, affordable produce in the Austin community. During this season’s kickoff on June 7, PCC Community Wellness Center (PCC) unveiled its new farm logo, designed by William Barker from Austin Multiplex High School. As the first place winner of PCC’s art contest, Barker was awarded a $700 scholarship. Two other students from the same school, Ebony White and Jacquan Johnson, second and third place winners respectively, were presented with $350 scholarships.

Chicago, IL –The PCC Austin Farm is preparing to launch its farm stand’s sixth season on June 7. In addition to counseling patients about the benefits of healthy eating, PCC Community Wellness Center (PCC) is also providing easy access to produce within the Austin community. Produce grown on the farm will be harvested and sold at the PCC Austin Farm Stand. First harvest picks include mustard and collard greens, kale, lettuce, scallions, and garlic.
