PCC’s headquarters is located just seven miles from downtown Chicago in Oak Park, IL—home to Frank Lloyd Wright’s studio and Ernest Hemingway’s birthplace. With affordable housing and an outstanding school system, Oak Park is a suburb with an urban flare and an ideal community in which to raise your family and develop a rewarding career.

PCC has hospital affiliations with West Suburban Medical Center and Norwegian American Hospital. Our fellowship and residency programs are hosted in collaboration with West Suburban Medical Center.

PCC is continuously dialoguing with community members, health organizations and patients to brainstorm innovative ways through which to increase access to affordable, quality health care. Two exciting PCC programs have been birthed from such dialogue—the Birth Center at PCC and PCC’s community farm. The first initiative, the Birth Center at PCC, is the first licensed free-standing birth center in the state of Illinois. The second project, PCC Austin Farm, is a sustainable avenue through which to provide the Austin community, a designated food desert, with access to fresh produce.

Our commitment to providing quality care extends to our strategic construction, renovation and upkeep of our facilities. Our facilities are well maintained, ensuring optimal surroundings to provide health care and support services. In fact two of our sites, PCC Austin Family Health Center and PCC South Family Health Center are LEED-Gold Certified, a ranking that denotes these buildings are environmentally responsible. PCC Austin Family Health Center won both the Illinois ASHRAE Award for Excellence in Engineering (2010) and The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Outstanding Non-Profit Neighborhood Real Estate Project (2011).

Staff also receive personal time, paid vacation and sick days, and holiday time off. Lastly, PCC offers an optional retirement plan. Part-time providers are eligible for pro-rated benefits.
