The PCC Austin Farm is an urban farm located in the Austin community, adjacent to PCC Austin Family Health Center. The farm was established in partnership with Chicago Botanic Garden’s Windy City Harvest Program and the Humana Foundation. Opportunities for patient and community member involvement, including garden group participation and farm maintenance are available. As part of PCC's Reach Out and Read program, volunteers are recruited from the community to read to children in PCC waiting areas while waiting for their appointments.
